- Residents who have three wheelers or four wheelers which are operated by motor, they have been considered ineligible.
- If a person has mechanically operated agricultural equipment four wheelers, three wheelers etc., then they will not get the benefit.
- Rural residents who have Kisan Credit Card with a limit of more than 50 thousand rupees have also been declared ineligible.
- If there is a government member in any family, then they have also been considered ineligible.
- If a person from a rural family earns 15 thousand rupees every month, then they will also not get the benefit under the scheme.
- Citizens who have a non-agricultural industry and it is registered under the Government of India, then they will also not get the benefit.
- Families who pay income tax have also been considered ineligible.
- Families who have done business are also ineligible.
- The family should not have more than 2.5 acres of irrigated land.
- Families who have 5 acres or more of unirrigated land are also considered ineligible.
People of these 5 categories will get the benefit
Under the PM Awas Yojana, the government has selected 5 categories of residents who have been considered eligible for the scheme such as:-
- Families who are homeless.
- Beggar and weak families.
- Families who belong to the manual scavengers class.
- Legally independent bonded labourers.
